Provide an On-ramp

Data visualization language can be technical and dense, which makes onboarding difficult for new users of a style guide.

Apple’s chart guidance demonstrates a strong entry pattern: explain why charts are useful, define key terms with anatomy diagrams, and establish core concepts before advanced rules.

If people are not applying your guidance, the first improvement is often a clearer onboarding section.
